I love sharing my passion for plants and cultivating curiousty about the wonder of the wild flowers at our feet and in our gardens. From small stage to large, in person to online, and small local group to conference hall, I’d be delighted to provide an engaging, interactive and inspiring talk for you. For in-person talks, I regularly travel across Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, parts of Leicestershire and also Rutland. I am able to travel further afield too, especially for festivals and larger events, so please contact me to find out more.

Talks & public speaking

I reframe the complicated terminology, take off the wrapping and tell stories to help the vibrant subject of wild plant life and trees, unfurl and be something everyone can appreciate and be astounded by. I focus on demystifying the meaning behind the complex terminology and use that to aid our appreciation of that plant’s place in history, or its appearance.

From local group to conference halls, I’ve presented to groups of all sizes

I often tailor my speeches and talks to the individual event so they fit specific themes perfectly. I’ve also had the great privilege of speaking at TEDx Brayford Pool in Lincoln, storytelling about wild plant life to an incredibly diverse audience.

Talks and speeches about wild plant life and medicinal plants fit comfortably into a wide range of events, from festivals and conferences, right through to local gardening groups, Women’s Institutes and U3As.

Want a more hands-on, interactive experience? I also offer private Herb Walk bookings for groups, which is a really great outdoor opportunity for the Spring and Summer months.
