Appointment and prescription fees

My fees are split into ‘appointments’ and ‘herbs’, as different people need differing amounts of herbs, and differing numbers of consultations. The way that I work doesn’t fit into a package.

Initial consultations – online or home visit: £75 per session (1.5 – 2 hours). This also includes subsequent checking of any herb-drug interactions, writing of your bespoke treatment plan, and writing up your herbal prescription.

Review / follow-up appointments – online or home-visit: £35 per session (up to 1 hour). Usually every 4-6 weeks, depending on your individual health situation.

Walking appointments: £40 per session (up to 1 hour), within a certain radius of Lincoln. Only available in certain cases, for review appointments.

Travel fee: Home visit and walking appointments, depending on location, may incur an additional mileage fee of 45p per mile, which I can calculate for you when you enquire / book in.

Herbal prescriptions: Herbs usually work out between £9-£13 per week. Prices are subject to change, based on supplier cost changes.

Postage: £5.50 for first class post, up to 2kg

Repeat prescription making: If you reach a stable point in your treatment, sometimes it’s appropriate to have repeat prescriptions for a while. There is a £7.50 fee per prescription (up to 525ml of herbs, £10 for over 525ml), to cover my costs of dispensing your herbs. This fee is only charged if you do not have an appointment, but just need a repeat prescription with no changes.

Prescription reviews/ changes: If you do not have an appointment, but we either have a short phone review (up to 30 mins), or there is a need to review and amend your prescription, there is a small fee for covering my time for this of £15. This also includes the cost of making the prescription and so there is no prescription making fee charged additionally. If you have a standard review appointment, there is no charge for changing or making your prescription (just the cost of the appointment itself, and the cost of your herbal prescription).

 

Fees are subject to change, depending on administrative cost changes, wholesale herb cost changes, postal cost changes, and fuel cost changes. If any costs change, current patients are notified in advance.
